The Coreless Induction Furnace, commonly known as CIF, is an effective furnace type for remelting clean scrap and processing difficult aluminium alloys (such as lithium containing alloys) as well as master alloys. The channel inductor furnace for secondary aluminium provides an efficient way of recycling / remelting clean scrap. Calderys monolithic refractory ensures a long lifetime in the vat with excellent resistance to corrosion from aggressive alloys, while also providing good thermal insulation. Calderys experts are also focused on providing you with high mechanical strength in the bottom for resistance against falling scrap when loading the charge.
