Aluminum & Copper China 2025: Calderys showcases its solutions
Complete package of refractory solutions for Primary & Secondary Aluminum Production
Calderys offers a full portfolio of refractory solutions of monolithics, bricks, precast shapes covering the entire value chain—from primary production (pot cells, transfer ladles, anode baking furnaces) to secondary applications (melting and holding furnaces, rotary furnaces). Our ALKON® FD range stands out for its fast-dry technology, minimizing downtime and energy usage while ensuring excellent durability and fast installation.
Tailored Refractories for Primary & Secondary Copper
Calderys and its brand HWI, A Member of Calderys, support copper producers with a specialized range of bricks and monolithics. These solutions address the unique challenges of both primary copper (smelters, converters, anode refining vessels) and secondary copper (reverberatory furnaces, rotary furnaces, Kaldo converters) processing. Key products like NARMAG®, AUREX®, and CALDE® CAST help resist wear from slag, thermal shock, and combustion, extending equipment’s life and operational efficiency.
Melting solutions for Aluminum & Copper Foundries
Calderys delivers high-performance linings for coreless and channel induction furnaces with SILICA MIX, CALDE® CAST, and CALDE® FLOW. These materials are engineered to withstand high thermal loads and chemical attacks in copper and aluminum foundry melting units. For copper foundries, Calderys’ solutions offer improved furnace uptime and reduced maintenance thanks to custom-engineered linings for tilting, pouring, and casting furnaces.
Calderys maintains a strong operational footprint in China, supporting customers across the metal and foundry industries. The group’s refractory plant, located in in Zhangjiaging, Jiangsu province stands out for its leadership in environmental protection, with major energy-saving and dust control measures. In 2024, it also celebrated 5,000 days of accident-free operation and has maintained this safety achievement by June 12, 2025.
Calderys also provides dedicated engineering and technical support services, including custom lining designs, on-site installation supervision, dry-out services, and operator training.
