On September 20th, Calderys organized in all its industrial sites and offices the safe.day, a day on which the group halts operations for a few hours to promote and strengthen a strong health and safety culture across our company and our business.

Known as ‘Capes’ (Calderys Plant in East & South India), and located in the state of Odisha, eastern India, the project is a strategic investment to support customers in the country with world-class tailor made and superior quality products and services. Production at the plant is planned to begin in the second half of 2025.

Calderys is excited to announce its participation in the 16th edition of ANKIROS, the International Iron-Steel, Foundry, and Non-Ferrous Metallurgy Technologies Trade Fair, taking place from September 19-21, 2024, at the IFM – Istanbul Expo Center, Yeşilköy, Istanbul. This premier event, powered by "The Bright World of Metals" and organized by Hannover Messe Ankiros Fuarcılık A.Ş., is a crucial gathering for global leaders in metallurgy.

Calderys is pleased to announce that after extensive testing and development in Europe at the Group’s Haznedar Durer manufacturing plant (Türkiye), and in the USA at its Advanced Technology Research Center (ATRC), the HWI range of primary and secondary refractory products for copper producers and copper foundries is available to the Group’s EMEA customers.

Calderys is pleased to announce its participation in the 9th International Iron and Steel Symposium, taking place at the Izmir Tepekule Convention and Exhibition Center on June 6-7, 2024.

HWI, a member of Calderys, is exhibiting at AISTech 2024, held in Columbus, Ohio from May 6-9, 2024. During the event, HWI, Calderys’ brand in the Americas, will unveil innovative solutions in refractory technology, showcasing the Group's commitment to driving safety, efficiency, and sustainability in steel production.
