Calderys was part of the 6th METEC/ESTAD - European Steel Technology and Applications Days, presenting 3 different lectures where Calderys’ experts highlighted our main points of interest for the future in Iron & Steel and where we presented our novelties and our different solutions. Calderys has inaugurated a new Foundry Service Center in the Nordic region, in the strategic area of Mariestad, in order to provide solutions quicker and offer greater flexibility to its foundry customers.

The 15th edition of GIFA has come to an end!

The 15th edition of the most important trade fair in the industry, which gathers international experts and key decision-makers, will take place on June 12th to 16th, in Düsseldorf, Germany. Calderys will showcase its Iron & Steel, Foundry and Aluminum expertise, through one major theme: sustainability.

Pittsburgh, PA – June 1, 2023 – HarbisonWalker International (HWI), which announced in February 2023 that it would combine with Calderys, has unveiled a new brand identity. The new look reflects HWI as a member of Calderys, the global refractories company’s brand in the Americas.

In October 2022, Nanwa bentonite mine in China harvested the first bag of millet grain which was produced from the mine's environmentally remediated land. Millet is a small-grained cereal which is suitable to grow in drought and extreme weather. It marks a very important milestone to Calderys’ mine in terms of land reclamation and alternative land use through post-closure.
