Fluidised Bed Boiler

The fluidized bed combustion boiler is used to burn solid fuels. These fuel particles are suspended in a hot, bubbling fluidity bed of ash (and other materials) through which jets of air are blown to provide the oxygen required for processes such as combustion or gasification.
