Safe. Day 2026: Safety is my duty, my responsibility

This year’s theme, “Safety: My Duty, My Responsibility,” highlights a simple but important principle: safety starts with each of us.

Every decision we make, every task we undertake and every action we take can contribute to a safer workplace. By staying alert, identifying risks, speaking up when something does not seem right and looking out for one another, we can help strengthen our safety culture every day.

During Safe. Day, colleagues across our sites and locations are taking time away from their regular activities to participate in discussions, workshops and activities focused on safety. These moments provide an opportunity to share experiences, learn from one another and reflect on how we can continue to improve the way we work.

Safe. Day is part of Calderys’ broader safe. program, which reinforces four fundamental principles: putting safety first, communicating openly about risks, working together and taking ownership of health and safety.
