Calderys at Thermotec 2026: showcasing energy-efficient refractory solutions

From September 9–11, 2026, Calderys will exhibit at Thermotec 2026, held at the Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo. At Hall S1, Booth F011, the Calderys team in Japan will present its refractory solutions for the industrial-furnace and thermal-processing sector, welcoming customers, partners and industry peers from across the region.

Thermotec is Japan's largest and only exhibition dedicated to industrial furnaces and thermal technology, and this edition focuses on energy saving, carbon-emission reduction and sustainability. The event is a valuable opportunity for Calderys to engage directly with furnace operators and reinforce its position as a trusted refractory partner across the foundry, iron & steel, and thermal-process industries.

At the booth, Calderys will showcase a focused set of solutions, each addressing a specific challenge faced by furnace operators:

  • CALDE® SOL: a range of no-cement, sol-gel bonded castables designed to be brought up to temperature without a dedicated drying stage, helping operators shorten commissioning and reduce energy use.
  • CALDE® FD (Fast Dry): fast-dry castables that maintain the dense, high-strength performance of conventional linings while reducing heat-up time, cutting maintenance downtime and turnaround time for major repairs.
  • RCF-free insulation solutions: lightweight, ceramic-fibre-free insulating castables that improve thermal efficiency and support safer, more sustainable installations.

Together, these solutions reflect Calderys' broader approach to the thermal industry: combining product performance with practical, on-site value – including faster installation, reduced downtime, longer lining life and lower energy consumption – across foundry, iron & steel, aluminum and waste-to-energy applications.

Calderys looks forward to meaningful conversations as the industry advances toward more efficient, durable and sustainable furnace operations.
